The modern wet room is fully tiled and has a state of the art remote controlled toilet, useful for less able guests.

The garden is accessed via a gate or from the property itself and is fully fenced and enclosed, to make it completely safe for dogs.

To the front of the cottage are far reaching open countryside views and to the rear, adjacent to the garden hedge, is an area of additional garden that could be available to The Lodge by separate negotiation if you would like a larger outside space and past this is the current owners farmhouse.  The Lodge is not overlooked at all.

The Location

The Lodge is ideally situated for the coast in the rural village of East Ruston on the East Norfolk coast. Tucked away in the quiet part of the village, the Lodge is the perfect place to escape it all. The village itself is a two minute drive away and is a huge attraction for many due to the stunning gardens at The Old Vicarage which have been inspired by the landscapes of Arizona.

Just over a mile away lies the coastal village of Happisburgh, home to the infamous red and white lighthouse which if you can bear the height is open a couple of times a year.  The nearby coastal village of Mundesley is a beautiful spot, popular with visitors to the area for its clean sandy beach and calm waters. You will also find a good selection of shops and places to eat.

Nearby Stalham is just 4 miles away and is bustling with things to do and places to see - there's something for everyone. On the High Street you'll find an array of independent shops and a regular market is held on the first and third Saturday, where farmers sell their delicious products including meats, cheese and vegetables. On the picturesque staithe, there will always be something to see with the boats coming and going, many of which are available for day hire allowing you to explore the water ways.
