Just a few minutes drive away are the incredibly popular villages of Brancaster with its famous beach and golf club and Thornham with another beach and a plethora of lovely pubs, restaurants and cafes.

The Coast Hopper bus stops outside the entrance to the bird reserve, close to the cottage, and runs regularly during the summer months between Hunstanton and Cromer.
