Pimpernel is a picture perfect period, brick & flint, cottage in the heart of the highly sought after village of Blakeney. With a glimpse of the sea from upstairs, the cottage is just seconds from the quay and close to all the village amenities. Currently a super popular holiday let, Pimpernel is the perfect romantic bolthole for couples or quiet retreat if it's a bit of time on your own that you need.
Pimpernel has a charming open plan living space downstairs, with a handsome fireplace, pamment hearth and wood burning stove. The modern kitchen to the rear has integrated appliances, including a dishwasher and under counter fridge, an oven, hob and extractor over. Ample space for two people to prepare supper to eat outisde on the bistro table or in the cottage in front of the fire at the dining table. There are windows on both sides of the cottage making it bright and filled with natural light.
The whole cottage is elegantly decorated and furnished, giving it very much the luxury boutique hotel feel, perfect for a stay on the North Norfolk coast.
Upstairs there is a large double bedroom, with lovely wide boarded floor, distressed in grey for a Provencal look. Plenty of room for a double bed, bedside tables, occasional chairs and dressing table. There are double aspect windows making the room lovely and bright and a fitted wardrobe cupboard.
Adjacent to the bedroom is the bathroom. Again a good size, with a window to the front of the cottage and comprising a bath with rainfall shower over, wash hand basin and WC.
The cottage sits on a picturesque courtyard, bordered by four cottages in total, with its own outside seating area to the front.
There is a gate leading to Westgate Street, making the courtyard a private space for the cottages alone.
Whilst there is no parking at the cottage istself, there is short term parking immediately opposite Pimpernel, outside the coffee shop, wet fish shop & local convenience store. Park here to unload then take the car up to the free car park at the village hall about 3 minutes walk away.
From Pimpernel it is literally a 2 minute walk to the quay and the centre of the village.
