Hare Cottage is a charming three-bedroom traditional Carrstone mid-terrace cottage. It has been renovated and extended to create an interior ideally suited to modern living whilst retaining original features and a cosy cottage feel and is beautifully finished and presented throughout.
On entering the cottage from the enclosed front garden, you enter the lovely sitting room with a wood-burning stove and window out to the front. This leads through to a corridor with storage cupboards, guest toilet, door to staircase and the stylish family bathroom off.
From here you enter the lovely bright and airy kitchen extension. This is a fantastic family space with extended height sloping ceilings flooding the room with light from the sky lights. The colour scheme is chic and tranquil, with a palette of neutral tones and the shaker style kitchen features a butler sink, oak worktops and an island unit with pendant lighting over. There are integrated appliances including fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and washing machine and a gas range cooker. There is ample space for a dining table and chairs and funky vertical radiators, with French doors leading out to the patio and garden beyond.
The family bathroom is a particular feature of the cottage, with Moroccan inspired floor tiles, modern bathtub with central wall-hung taps, WC, sink and large walk-in shower enclosure with mains pressure shower.
Throughout the ground floor are stripped wooden floors and oak doors with traditional ironmongery.
Upstairs, the three bedrooms are arranged off a small hallway with the master bedroom to the rear of the cottage with a number of useful cupboards providing storage at head height and window looking out over the back garden. The further two bedrooms are fairly equally sized and currently arranged with a double bed in each and have windows out to the front of the cottage.
To the front of the cottage is a cute small walled courtyard garden. The current owner has planning permission to create an enclosed porch to the front door.
To the rear is a lovely enclosed garden space featuring a patio with plenty of space for outdoor dining furniture and BBQ for al fresco dining, an astro-turf lawn (so no need to worry about cutting the grass) with flower beds to one side and a very useful shed / brick outbuilding at the bottom of the garden. Ideal for storage of bikes or beach equipment, or could have scope to become a summerhouse.
Hare Cottage has a right of access over the rear of the neighbouring gardens on one side. There are no cottages with a right of access over the garden for Hare Cottage.
There is unrestricted parking on the quiet lane to the front of the cottage.
