Property Description

The Property

9 Norfolk Heights is a fabulous ground floor apartment in the iconic Norfolk Heights development. It is beautifully presented with a bright and airy open plan kitchen dining space, with views over the gardens. There are two double bedrooms and a stylish bathroom. The apartment benefits from its own private garden and immaculate communal gardens and grounds surrounding the building, including a large residents parking area and drying green.

The apartment is accessed through a communal entrance, with the front door leading into a hallway between the main living space and bedrooms. The open plan sitting / kitchen / dining space is flooded with light from the windows to the front of the property, making the most of the far reaching countryside views beyond.

The two double bedrooms are at the rear of the apartment and the second bedroom has French doors leading out to the garden.  The family bathroom is newly fitted and stylish with a bath and shower over, loo and towel rail.

All the internals doors have been replaced with high quality fire doors.

Outside

The apartment has an excellent sized private garden, which would benefit from some further planting and design.  There is a shed for storage at the rear and a gate, leading out to the parking area.

Norfolk Heights is an iconic North Norfolk building; a former workhouse, built in 1836 by John Browne. The central façade has recessed arches around the windows and ornamental brickwork. During World War One the building was used as the officers mess for Sedgeford airfield and was converted to housing in 1989. It sits in extensive gardens and grounds that are managed by the residents association, along with a large gravelled parking area for residents, communal drying area and driveway leading to the rear of the property.

9 Norfolk Heights lends itself equally to being a main residence, second home or holiday let with great potential to generate a second income through holiday letting or possibly a longer term let if desired. The current owners enjoy the flat as their private second home. The apartment could be available as a turn key with all furniture and fittings available (by separate negotiation), which would make it very straightforward to move in straight away and enjoy or to set up as a holiday let.
